When Sisters Become Best Friends.

I <3 my sisters.

I really do.

They're my best friends.
We hang out all the times,
take each other out on our birthdays and we go shopping,
tell each other their clothes are dumb.
we yell, and scream at each other then five minutes later we will be laughing at how stupid our fight was.
We laugh at each other/with each other/at others. Yah, we do.
We share secrets,
we have retarded inside jokes.
We share clothes and even horde our clothes sometimes.
Always make the other one do the most work. Or we try.
We find husbands for each other.
We fly down country roads listening and singing to Taylor Swift in Whit's little car.
We turn off the hot water heater when each other are in the shower. Hehe. (Ok, only I do that.) ;)
We do each other's make up.
We have Starbucks dates.
We go on lunch dates.
We really do love to act like idiots together.
We couldn't live without each other.
We couldn't laugh without each other.
Dang! We most definitely could NEVER stop loving each other.
They're the Best in the West. :)
We're best friends.

I <3 my sisters.

Now that you're totally jealous of my awesome sisters...don't be jealous, jealousy is a sin.

"A best friend is a gift to cherish forever.
It's a special bond that crosses the boundaries of time and distance.
Time passes, but a best friend is constant in a world of change....."

(If this one's blurry, I think I will shoot this computer.)
"....Like a fine wine or a vintage car, our friendship gets better with age.
Life may have it's ups and downs but our shared dreams continue.
I don't thank you enough.
I don't know where I'd be without my best friend."

And the other little squirt.

I <3 my sisters.

Love, love, love. All you need is love.

So, I was having a hard time thinking of something to blog today and I remembered some picture thing I got a long time ago that was really retarded but I knew I could make it look awesome.

Yah, ain't that ugly, corny, cheesy, stupid, hopeless, LAME, Goodwill worthy, and just plain nasty. ;)  So, I went to find it and I started humming the Beatles' song, "All You Need Is Love"

I had a brilliant idea, and this my friends is what I came up with.

I sanded it down, took off those dumb corner things, painted it, wrote the lyrics to the whole song, "All You Need Is Love",  added some pictures, hallelujah the "We are blessed" is gone. This my friends is what came of it.

I thought it turned out stinking awesome. I LOVE it. I think it's so cool. I think my favorite part is how I made it look ten times better, or maybe it was all those other friendly faces on it that made it look ten times better. There's all us kids with our laughing smiles on the left. :)
Then below it is my dear Victoria. <3 <3 <3
Then above that is Whit, Ashley, and I with my Nana when we were little. <3 <3 <3
Below that is "my three little girls". ;) Caitlin, Emily, and Madison. The girls I babysit. <3 <3
Above that is Whit, Jess, Rach, Ashley and I. <3 <3 <3
So I put some of my favorite people on there and I think it will look quite adorable in my room. :)
:D

So, this is my love for the day.

Love Unconditional

Many people have no idea what true, unconditional love really is. Paul made an accurate description of love in 1 Corinthians 13:4-7, 13. : “Love is patient, love is kind. Love does not envy; is not boastful; is not conceited; does not act improperly; is not selfish; is not provoked; does not keep a record of wrong; finds no joy in unrighteousness, but rejoices in the truth, bears all things; believes all things, endures all things. Now these three remain: faith, hope, love. But the greatest of these is love.”     Christ showed unconditional love to anyone who wanted it. He spared his dignity and his pride for any old person that needed his help. The most spectacular account in history of unconditional love is also displayed by Jesus; He loved us when we mocked and scorned Him. He took our sin upon Himself so we could live eternally. His dignity was ripped away when he humbly walked up that hill and died on that cross...for us. I've never had anyone but Jesus, do anything so...amazing, selfless, kind, loving, inspiring, humble...the list goes on. “In Christianity, the term “Unconditional love” would be more accurately described as Christ’s forgiveness.”  We can show simple love by simply displaying acts of kindness, but, we will not truly show unconditional love until we study what Christ did, and why he did it.  Loving someone is also not judging them. Jesus did not judge the adulteress thrown at His feet by the Pharisees. He protected her, saved her life, he loved her.  The only way to truly grasp and define love is in one word, one name, one being: Jesus Christ.
 2 Corinthians 13: 4-7, 13
Love is patient, love is kind. But the greatest of these is love.”
Much love,
Amanda. :)

See ya later.

Whit left today to be a leader for two months at a girl's discipleship program called EXCEL.  SO, I think I will miss her. A LOT. Anywho, when she went two years ago as a student, letters were the highlight of the day for her. She loves letters, she would love to get one form YOU! Don't be offended though if she doesn't write back, she's busy! BUSY BUSY! But she would love a little hi form you, and you, and YOU! And, one more thing, this may seem odd, but, she's not supposed to get letters from guys. Yah, it seems weird. Anywho, so, if you are a guy and wanna send a little hi, make your sis write a letter and you can just put a little note in. Sooo, here's her address, WRITE WRITE WRITE! Please. :)

Tough Love. ;)

People are always saying they show tough love, well, my Great Uncle defines tough love. First let me tell you about him. He's contrary, blunt, rude, generous, hates curly hair, hates it when people are skinny, loving, funny...all in one person, I bet you thought that wasn't possible. My word it is.

Example 1: To my aunt after she got a perm when she was about 15. "Toni! what'd ya go and do to your hair? Mop the floor with it?"

Example 2: To my mom when she was pregnant, "Well, looks like your gaining weight nicely, make sure you don't gain anymore or you might be considered fat."

before I go on, don't worry, he loves us, he just is extremely blunt, and we still adore him for it.

Example 3: To Whitney and I at our Grandpa's election part when he was elected County Judge, "Amanda, (he said loudly) you look like you are finally getting fat and gaining lots of weight, you better get in that food line and fill your plate before you lose your figure. By the way, what happened to your hair? It looks like you mopped the floor with bleach with your hair." "Whitney, did you just get your head out of the trash can?"

Example 4: Today my grandmother and I went to visit him in the hospital and I knew promptly he was still himself when we walk in said HIII and he just stared at me for a while then blurted out, "What's wrong with your hair? You just walk through a downpour? It's so rattttyyyy. Talk about RATS NEST!" So I told him I'd go home and brush it for him and he said, "Wouldn't do ya no good after all, it always looks that way."

TOLD YOU HE HATES CURLY HAIR! :)

Anyways, love is tough. Cause I have this eighty year old uncle who loves me to death, yet always tells me I'm either fat or have ratty mop bucket hair. Wow, I never thought I would love some one so much that totally tells me I look like a bum. ;) It's become a funny highlight everytime we visit him, cause it seems like the comments get better and better, and Whitney and I always try to best each other with is comments. Btw, he loves Ashley, everything about her.

Example: "You sure do look perty Ashley with that hair that don't look like it's been in bed all day. Your lookin mighty fine"

I love tough love.

Cowboy Love

So after we got home from the Cowboy's game, my little brother, John, would go around telling everyone he was gonna play football for the Cowboys. Ha. He says he "loves" Cowboys.

Most people do have their sports team they love, I love the Cowboys, I don't know everything about football, but I still love the Cowboys. I know a lot of diehard Cowboys fans, Longhorn fans, Aggie's fans, OU fans, Gator fans...you get the point. My youth pastor is DIE HARD OU. If you insult his Sooner's he will kick your butt. He named his dog Sooner. So obviously, he has a love.

I was thinking, what if we were that way about God, what if we were die hard Christians? What if we kicked butt everytime some one insulted our God? What if we were that die hard for God? what if we got out and tried convincing everyone that our God was the best? Our go was way better than their way? I think it could change a lot. I think it would blow some one away
if we were that sold out for God.

So my dear people, I'm not telling you to give up your beloved football. I'm watching the Cowboys score away as I type. Just, love God, as much as we love our football.
Go #9. ;)

Beautiful love.

"Love is beautiful." That's what one of my dear friends told me one time. I was having a hard time forgiving some one that hurt me terribly. She told me this, "Amanda, love is beautiful, and this is why. The beautiful thing of love is, it covers all sin. Proverbs 10:12 says, 'Hatred stirs up anger, but love covers all sin.' Amanda, love covers all. Love is beautiful, because when you truly love some one you can ignore the pain and hurt they cause and keep on loving." I believe it now, that love is beautiful. That must be why I love it so much. I love beautiful things. Anywho, this is my "love share" for the day. ;)

Proverbs 10:12 "Hatred stirs up anger, but love covers all sin."

I love you.

I love, love. So I'm a hopeless romantic. Not the kind that cries in the movie when the couple you thought would never be together kisses. No, that's not me, I usually giggle at that point. I'm a hopeless romantic in the sense I'm a match maker. I love it when people get, engaged, get together....I just love it. I love, love basically. I also love when people show their love. Like helping people out or just being plain old kind and considerate. Like that song we used to sing when I was little. "Be kind and considerate, love one another..." and I can't remember the rest. Anywho, like I've stated about seventeen times. I love, love. :) So I'm doing a love challenge. For the rest of the month, I'm posting everyday something about love. Either something I drew, painted, learned, a quote, a story.... Please don't think me an idiot. :) I just love, love. Hehe. :)

And this post is pink, cause I think if love had a color, it would decide to be pink. Cause pink is..."lovely." hehe.

Admit you've thought it.

So I found this list of things on my friend's facebook. A list of things we've all thought but never seem funny till now.

Random Thoughts We've All Had

Nothing blows more than that moment during an argument when you
realize you're wrong.

Have you ever been walking down the street and realized that you're
going in the complete opposite direction of where you are supposed to
be going? But instead of just turning a 180 and walking back in the
direction from which you came, you have to first do something like
check your watch or phone or make a grand arm gesture and mutter to
yourself to ensure that no one in the surrounding area thinks you're
crazy by randomly switching directions on the sidewalk.

I totally take back all those times I didn't want to nap when I was younger.

The letters T and G are very close to each other on a keyboard. This
recently became all too apparent to me and consequently I will never
be ending a work email with the phrase "Regards" again.

Do you remember when you were a kid, playing Nintendo and it wouldn't
work? You take the cartridge out, blow in it and that would magically
fix the problem. Every kid in America did that, but how did we all
know how to fix the problem? There was no internet or message boards
or FAQ's. We just figured it out. Today's kids are soft.

There is a great need for sarcasm font.

I think everyone has a movie that they love so much, it actually
becomes stressful to watch it with other people. I'll end up wasting
90 minutes shiftily glancing around to confirm that everyone's
laughing at the right parts, then making sure I laugh just a little
bit harder (and a millisecond earlier) to prove that I'm still the
only one who really, really gets it.

How the heck are you supposed to fold a fitted sheet?

The only time I look forward to a red light is when I'm trying to finish a text.

Was learning cursive really necessary?

Lol has gone from meaning, "laugh out loud" to "I have nothing else to say".

I have a hard time deciphering the fine line between boredom and hunger.

Answering the same letter three times or more in a row on a Scantron
test is absolutely petrifying.

How many times is it appropriate to say "What?" before you just nod
and smile because you still didn't hear what they said?

Every time I have to spell a word over the phone using 'as in'
examples, I will undoubtedly draw a blank and sound like a complete
idiot. Today I had to spell my boss's last name to an attorney and
said "Yes that's G as in...(10 second lapse)..ummm...Goonies"

What would happen if I hired two private investigators to follow each other?

While driving yesterday I saw a banana peel in the road and
instinctively swerved to avoid it...thanks Mario Kart.

I find it hard to believe there are actually people who get in the
shower first and THEN turn on the water.

Shirts get dirty. Underwear gets dirty. Pants? Pants never get dirty,
and you can wear them forever.

I can't remember the last time I wasn't at least kind of tired.

If Carmen San Diego and Waldo ever got together, their offspring would
probably just be completely invisible.

Why is it that during an ice-breaker, when the whole room has to go
around and say their name and where they are from, I get so incredibly
nervous? Like I know my name, I know where I'm from, this shouldn't be
a problem....

Can we all just agree to ignore whatever comes after DVDs? I don't
want to have to restart my collection.

There's no worse feeling than that millisecond you're sure you are
going to die after leaning your chair back a little too far.

I'm always slightly terrified when I exit out of Word and it asks me
if I want to save any changes to my ten page research paper that I
swear I did not make any changes to.

"Do not machine wash or tumble dry" means I will never wash this ever.

I hate being the one with the remote in a room full of people watching
TV. There's so much pressure. 'I love this show, but will they judge
me if I keep it on? I bet everyone is wishing we weren't watching
this. It's only a matter of time before they all get up and leave the
room. Will we still be friends after this?'

I hate when I just miss a call by the last ring (Hello? Hello?!), but when I immediately call back, it rings nine times and goes to voicemail. What'd you do after I didn't answer? Drop the phone and run away?

I like all of the music in my iTunes, except when it's on shuffle,
then I like about one in every fifteen songs in my iTunes.

Why is a school zone 20 mph? That seems like the optimal cruising speed for pedophiles...

As a driver I hate pedestrians, and as a pedestrian I hate drivers,
but no matter what the mode of transportation, I always hate cyclists.

Sometimes I'll look down at my watch 3 consecutive times and still not know what time it is.

It should probably be called Unplanned Parenthood.

I keep some people's phone numbers in my phone just so I know not to answer when they call.

Even if I knew your social security number, I wouldn't know what do to with it.

It really ticks me off when I want to read a story on CNN.com and the link takes me to a video instead of text.

I wonder if cops ever get mad at the fact that everyone they drive behind obeys the speed limit.

I think the freezer deserves a light as well.

The other night I ordered takeout, and when I looked in the bag, saw
they had included four sets of plastic silverware. In other words,
someone at the restaurant packed my order, took a second to think
about it, and then estimate d that there must be at least four people
eating to require such a large amount of food. Too bad I was eating by
myself. There's nothing like being made to feel like a fat loser
before dinner.

I don't even care if you didn't find that funny. Just laugh! :)

I believe I can fly!

I believe I can touch the sky! Ok, not really. I just feel like flying cause my blog looks SOOOO much better. No more embarrassment! Hallelujah! :) With the help of a few people...er, nevermind, no one helped me! I figured out all the things that went wrong! *clap clap* While scouring the globe for an elusive jackalope, I found the PERFECTO background. You may think it's little kiddie or something, but, it is exactly what I was looking for: fun, calm, laid back, not too computer generated looking, doesn't look like it was made in the paint program. I LOVE it! :) And I found it all by myself. Seriously guys, I'm proud of myself. Anywho, here's my new and improved blog! YAYYYYY! So, I'm going to try to blog the funniest or most interesting things from now on so you can comment to your heart's delight! (Your heart better delight in commenting or you get out right now) ;)

Talk about my blog looking perfect, I will leave you with this unmatching little blinkie thing.
